ProlifeLIVE.com, published under the News Break News brand, is a news service of Priests for Life. Our mission is to report original, source-based journalism on the pro-life movement: legislation and court rulings, elections, international developments, and the human stories behind them.

Every article is original writing based on primary sources and official records, which are cited within each story. We do not republish wire copy or press releases as news.

Priests for Life was founded in 1991 by a small group of priests in the San Francisco area and was formally recognized by Archbishop John Quinn. It has grown into one of the country's most visible pro-life apostolates, organizing clergy and lay Catholics around the goal of ending abortion.
